Paint Party Friday, another week, where does the time go? I suppose the time flies because this is such a beautiful season, especially this year as everything is early here in Missouri. This pic is a watercolor done on watercolor paper, my favorite thing to paint. Have a wonderful Friday and week-end. Check all the other fab entries for PPF!

Rose Tutorial and Pattern
This is the design for the tutorial if you are interested in using it for a card. Right click on design to print and adjust to desired size. Transfer roses to paper. Use a permanent ink pen to outline design on paper of choice(cardstock or watercolor paper). I painted with acrylic Americana Paint. I used a no.6 angle brush. Roses are painted with a double-load of Deep Burgandy on the short end of brush and Cad Yellow on the long end of brush. Blend brush on palette and paint roses and bud. Paint leaves Celery Green and shade base of each leaf with Midnite Green. Midnite Blue paint is thinned and background is painted, giving the card a watercolor affect. I had mentioned a video in a previous post, but the quality of pictures were not suitable. I am very disappointed. I need a new video cameria, but not practical at this time.

PAINT PARTY FRIDAY
This is my selection for this week, it is so much fun to be a part of PPF! I enjoy making greeting cards and am making a video to share with everyone my method of painting flowers or anything(please suggest "subjects of interest" and I will try to comply.) I will have a pattern for use, but I suggest making your own designs. There is no charge, it is just for fun! Free tutorial! Free!
